Phi Phi Islands (pronounce: Pi-Pi) are located in the Andaman Sea some 900 km from Bangkok. The archipelago is situated between Phuket Island and mainland Thailand and is part of Krabi province. Phi Phi islands sit some 50 km East of Phuket and 40 km South of Krabi. The Phi Phi archipelago consists of six islands with Koh Phi Phi Don being the biggest one and the only inhabited and Koh Phi Phi Lee – the second largest island. Koh Phi Phi Don covers a territory of 28 square km /11 square miles/ with maximum lengths of 8 km and 3.5 km across in the widest point.
Phi Phi Islands are considered as a world’s ultimate tropical paradise with breathtaking nature – white sandy beaches surrounded by thrilling sheer rock formations rising form the vivid waters, gorges and caves piercing the vertical cliffs, broad coral reefs and many more unique combinations of natural landmarks. A true paradise on the Earth which some people say that must be experienced at least once in lifetime. Phi Phi islands provide the best opportunities in the world for snorkeling, aqua-diving and cave kayaking for its virgin nature. Or just you can delight in nature.
