Hua Hin

Hua Hin is a famous beach resort city in the province of Phetchaburi province. The city is located about 190 km /120 miles/ South of Bangkok and has a population of 72,000 people. Hua Hin is one of the oldest resorts in Thailand. It was and still it is an active fishing port. Set on the West coast of the Gulf of Thailand Hua Hin has one of the lowest rain falls so it can be visited all year round. With its 5 mile long beach covered with gold sand Hua Hin is one of the most preferable holiday destinations not only for Thai people but for foreigners.

Hua Hin has another charm. As it is a residence of the Royal Family with the Royal palace Klai Kang Won (meaning “Far from Worries”) Hua Hin has the popularity of being “the resort of the upper-class”. Hua Hin provides one of the best opportunities for a holiday with activities like all water sports, trekking, hiking, incredible nightlife and shopping with relatively calm atmosphere compared to other resorts. In addition Hua Hin has most world class golf courses in Thailand but still they are not discovered as an international golf destination for different tournaments.
