Koh Lanta /Island/

Koh Lanta is an exotic island located in the Southern region of Thailand about 900 km /560 miles/ from Bangkok. Actually Koh Lanta comprises of 52 islands in the Krabi province. The largest of all islands is Koh Lanta Yai and is located about 70 km /44 miles/ from Krabi town. In the past like most of Thailand’s islands Koh Lanta used to be mainly visited by backpackers.

Nowadays the main attraction of Koh Lanta is its unspoiled nature although there are many exclusive resorts and hotels for a perfect holiday. You will find clean beaches, crystal water, beautiful reef and dense jungle covering most of the islands. In addition you can go snorkeling or practise any other kind of water sports. Koh Lanta is mostly visited by people that would like to be on a private place with not so much people and noise around them.
